Questioning truth, reality and traditions with Huni Kuin youth.

In times when metaverse is no longer a sci-fi story our dependency and addiction to modern technology in the west became almost fatal. Our quality of life keeps rising, so are depression rates. Living in a bubble of certain media consumption patterns it is almost impossible to imagine there are other ways to exist and carry yourself around. In the midst of COVID 19 pandemic I travelled to the indigenous village in the Brazilian Amazon in search of inspiration and other input. Trading my xmas and NY eve celebration I went to live with the Huni Kuin people for a month to experience their everyday life. The main purpose of this trip was to help with a private initiative of my friends to build a school for local children. This experience gave me a tremendous amounts of challenges and made me question history. As I witnessed the effects colonialism and evangelisation had on the local communities I had to reevaluate my view on right and wrong; western attitude to nature and its resources and our constant pursuit to overcome the limitations of our bodies.
