Still Alive
The name of this series describes the feeling I had while creating this body of work. After a month of research in the Brazilian Amazon with Huni Kuin tribe, surviving heavy influenza, mosquitos and a snake bite I had the urge to freeze that state of mind in an object.
Challenging Maslow's hierarchy of needs I realized that the only freedom there is in artistic practice is to choose to create in any environment.
